Deep Peninsula Dog Training Club (DPDTC) is an AKC licensed, non-profit club that offers obedience classes for dogs and handlers of all abilities. Whether the interest is training the dog to be a good citizen and family member or to enter dog obedience competition, the classes necessary to meet these goals are available. Classes are open to both purebred and mixed breed dogs alike. All of our instructors have many years of showing their own dogs in AKC obedience competitions, two are currently AKC judges, and all are up to date on AKC rules and regulations regarding these competitions. We train at Rengstorff Park in Mountain View on Monday nights. Go to the Class Information page for more details.
TRAINING CLASSES IN THE TIME OF COVID-19
Next "dog training at home" session to start
Monday, May 24, 2021
It's not easy staying home and trying to keep yourself and your dog entertained, so with that in mind, Deep Peninsula Dog Training Club (DPDTC) is now offering an online (via Zoom) option for dog training classes!
We'll be offering these classes: Puppy Foundation, Beginning Obedience, Intermediate Obedience and Tricks. This year our Puppy Foundation and Beginning Classes will include behaviors required for the new AKC Virtual Home Manners program.
Details are on our Class Information pages here: Class Information.
Following the ongoing public health orders from the State of California, and Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, Deep Peninsula Dog Training Club (DPDTC) is continuing our suspension of in-person Monday night classes.
Stay up to date on our latest class offerings and events!
Membership in the club is available for those interested in furthering their activities in this sport.
